What did I learn?

We didn't meet our all time goal, but we did make some money. We made $71.20 for our cause, and will mail it to WNEP soon. I feel like if we would've started a bit earlier, we could've reached our goal.  If I learned anything, it's probably that it's pretty easy to help our community. Maybe, we can even do the charity again next year.

Action Plan

Our action plan is to donate money to Feed-A-Friend, and they use the money to hold a food drive for the homeless. The three others that will help me, are Joey, Ally Kennedy, and Brennan. We all contacted the news station, and will help collect money for the cause. We've been trying to get a hold of WNEP, but we didn't get an answer till last week, and started collecting this week. By the end of the week, I'm hoping we can make at least $50.

Feed-a-Friend #7

Today's the last day of fully collecting money at school. It's to bad we didn't get the jar out earlier, but we still made some money. I think that Mr. VanFleet even donated. We're very grateful that he donated, even if it was just a little. Hopefully, when we count the money tomorrow after school, it'll be at least $50.

Feed-a-Friend #6

Todays our big collecting day. Hopefully, someone was generous enough to put money in the jar yesterday, but if not, it'll be more known today. Like I said, I'm going to try to get it on announcements, and put up the flyers this morning. If we can't put the flyers up today, it might screw up a lot of things, but hopefully it'll still get around the school. Over all, I think today will be a good collecting day.

Feed-a-Friend #5

This morning, when I asked the office if I could put my collection can on the desk, they gladly obliged. The only problem was, we weren't able to put the flyers up today, as they needed to be stamped. I'm not sure why, but it was probably for a good reason. Tomorrow morning, we'll put the flyers up, and maybe even ask the principal if he can say it over an announcement. Hopefully, by tomorrow, we'll have $75.

Feed-a-Friend #4

Tomorrow, our flyers will be up, and by the end of the night, we'll have our collecting cans. By Wednesday, hopefully we'll have at least $50, and send it to WNEP. This wouldn't be our all time goal of $300, but hopefully it'll help.

What Feed-A-Friend Is (Should be first post)

Feed-a-friend is a charity held by WNEP. They take the money we earn, and use it to help out the needy in food drives all across the county. They've graciously been doing this charity for 26 years, and need all the help they can get to help out those that don't have food.
